(Switched most of the GIFs to photos so the page loads more smoothly!)Matcha Vienna Cream Latte – Korean Café-Style Twist/A popular pick in Korea too

Hi there, it’s Hyeng Butler’s!💚
I heard matcha is all the rage lately, so I decided to give it a whirl myself! 🍵

This one’s made with a Korean-style matcha stick (not sponsored, promise!),
but flavor-wise—it might just whisk you away to Japan!
And the style? Totally inspired by the creamy Einspänner you’ll spot at just about every cozy Korean café these days.

So no, this drink didn’t originate in Korea, but it’s super popular here now—
so I’m proudly featuring it in my K-Café Drinks corner! ☕✨

Alright, are you ready?
Let’s dive into this dreamy green sea together—with our eyes first, and our hearts right after.
Let’s go~!

(Oh! For your information, I used the chat gpt translation.)

💚💚💙💙💚💚

Matcha Einspanner ingredients (1 glass)

1 bag of Zero Matcha Latte sticks (12 g)
(Only matcha latte powder with sugar.)

100ml of hot water

60 ml of cold milk

Canoe Mild Roast americano 2 guns

50ml sweetened cream

Whipping machine

about two thirds of a cup of ice

a small sieve

A little bit of matcha powder

💚💚💙💙💚💚

First, let's prep the powders!
I used 가루선생 메이크 라떼 제로슈가 제주 말차맛💚 — it's a Korean product that's sweet and has a delicious Japanese-style matcha flavor. (Not sponsored, I bought it myself! 😄)

Get two sticks of matcha latte powder and two sticks of Kanu Mild Roast Americano.
Boil about 100ml of water!

If you don't use the same product, prepare about 12g of sweet green tea latte powder, make a green tea latte with it, and sprinkle the remaining amount over the cream layer.

In a measuring cup where you can pour hot water, tear off a

packet of matcha latte powder and pour it. What do you think?

It's similar to Japanese matcha powder, right?

Two canoes, tear them into a cup where you can pour hot water

and pour them in~!!!

Green tea latte and coffee have to be done separately!

I'm going to combine them later.

Pour 50ml of hot water into the Zero Matcha Latte powder.💚
And stir with a whisk to mix well!!!

Pour 50ml of hot water into the cup with the two Kanu coffee sticks and stir to dissolve the coffee completely~!!!

Next, pour 60ml of cold milk into the measuring cup where you mixed the matcha latte powder.

Give it a good stir with a teaspoon~!!!

Now that the matcha latte and coffee are ready…
Shall we make the most important part of an Einspänner — the cream~??? 💚

Prepare 50ml of sweetened heavy cream.
If it’s freshly taken out of the fridge and nice and cold, it’ll whip up even better~!!!

Pour the sweetened heavy cream into a mixing bowl~
Then, rinse the whisk you used earlier with water, shake off the moisture, and use it to whip the cream for about 1 minute~!!!

Once it reaches a soft, slightly runny consistency, your Einspänner cream is ready~!!! ☁️💚

Now everything’s ready to build our Matcha Einspänner!!!
Shall we put it all together now??? 💚

Fill your cup about 2/3 full with ice,
then pour in the matcha latte using a small strainer to catch any lumps~!
This helps make the texture super smooth and silky~ㅎㅎ

Use a teaspoon to gently stir the matcha latte,
just enough for the ice to melt slightly and chill the drink~!!! ❄️🍵

When the cup feels nice and cold to the touch — that means it’s ready~!!! ㅎㅅㅎ

Now, gently pour the coffee over the matcha latte~!!! ☕🍵
Don’t stir it! The colors stay beautifully layered that way.

When you’re ready to drink it, mix just the coffee and matcha using chopsticks —
this way, the cream stays floating on top~!

It’s a little Hyeng Butler’s pro tip~!!! 💚😉

At this point, it’s basically a matcha latte with a coffee shot — aka, matcha “shotchu”! 😆
Now… shall we add the cream on top~??? ☁️💚

Spoon the whipped cream on top,
then use a knife to gently smooth it out for a clean finish~!!! ☁️

Finally, open one more stick of matcha latte powder and lightly sprinkle it in a straight line on top.
And just like that… your Matcha Einspänner is complete~!!!
Tadaaa~! 💚🍵✨

💛💛💜💜💙💙

Wow—our delicious Matcha Einspänner is finally complete~!!! 🍵💚
The bittersweet matcha latte “shotchu” meets the creamy whipped topping to create a drink that’s not too sweet, super nutty, and just so tasty!

If you take a sip while scooping a bit of cream...
you’ll taste that dreamy combo of sweet & bitter, and that’s what makes it so special~!!!

So, how was today’s little home café moment with me and my matcha Einspänner? ☕🌿
As always, it's time to close the doors of Hyeng Café for today~
Thank you so much for stopping by — I hope your day is filled with happiness and joy~!!! 🌸

That’s it for now…
See you in the next post~!!!
Byeeee~ I'll say hello in a cute way in Korean. See you again! bbyong!!! 💚✨🐰
